Miraflores Locks
The Panama Canal, globally renowned as the Eighth Wonder of the World, stretches approximately 80 kilometers between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. During our journey, we will visit one of its most impressive sections: “Miraflores Locks.”
Miraflores Locks is one of the three locks that make up the Canal, aiding ships in ascending and descending to navigate across the Central Cordillera of Panama. You will also enjoy a unique 45-minute film at the IMAX Theater, narrated by Morgan Freeman, which presents the past, present, and future of one of the most magnificent projects of all time, the Panama Canal.
You will pause at an artisan market near the center of the Observatory to purchase souvenirs. Additionally, you will stop in front of the Panama Canal Administration building.
